Hans van Goudoever is voorzitter (chair) of the Raad van Bestuur of Amsterdam UMC, the university medical centre formed from the AMC and VUmc, and has held the chair since 1 November 2023. The board also comprises vice-chair Karen Kruijthof, deans Saskia Peerdeman (VU) and Yvo Roos (UvA) and member Yvonne Koppelman. Amsterdam UMC's cancer research is organised through Cancer Center Amsterdam, one of its research institutes; the institute's own pages did not name a separate director when checked.
