Overview
Jonathan Brotherton is Chief Executive of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which runs four hospitals including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and provides adult district general and specialist services for the West Midlands. He has worked in Birmingham and Solihull since 2014, joining Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust as Director of Operations before becoming Chief Operating Officer. The trust's Chief Medical Officer is Professor Kiran Patel, a consultant cardiologist who joined in March 2024.
