Overview
Carl James is Chief Executive of Velindre University NHS Trust, the NHS Wales trust established in 1994 as a specialist provider of cancer services, whose Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff delivers radiotherapy including stereotactic techniques. He is quoted in that role in an August 2026 trust announcement welcoming Dr Sarah Green as Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development. The trust's chair is Sara Moseley.
