Overview
Lionel Collet is President of the Collège of the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS), the independent French authority that assesses medicines including cancer drugs, medical devices and clinical practice, and issues guidelines, a role he has held since 2023. A professor of medicine and former president of Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, he previously chaired the board of the Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris.
