Overview
Professor Anthony (Tony) Lawler heads the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australia's regulator of medicines and medical devices, as Deputy Secretary of the Health Products Regulation Group within the federal Department of Health. He took up the role in June 2023, succeeding Professor John Skerritt, and in October 2025 was elected Chair of the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities.
