Overview
Dr Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi is the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI), the head of the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO). The CDSCO 'Who's who' page lists him in that role alongside Joint Drugs Controllers including Dr S. Eswara Reddy, Dr V.G. Somani, Dr A. Visala and R. Chandrashekar. CDSCO is the Central Drug Authority under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, responsible for approving new drugs, regulating clinical trials and setting standards for drugs, cosmetics and medical devices in India.
