Paul Boutros (PhD, MBA) is Director and Professor of the NCI-Designated Cancer Center at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in La Jolla, California. The institute's leadership page also lists him as Senior Vice President for Data Sciences and a member of its Center for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Sanford Burnham Prebys is an independent non-profit biomedical research institute whose cancer centre has held National Cancer Institute designation as a basic laboratory cancer centre.
