Richard Van Etten, MD, PhD, is Director of the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of California, Irvine, and also serves as Senior Associate Dean and Associate Vice Chancellor for Cancer. The centre's leadership page lists Miguel Villalona Calero, MD, Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology, as Deputy Director, with associate directors covering basic science, clinical sciences, translational science, population science, community outreach, shared resources, education and administration. Executive decision-making is vested in a Senior Leadership Council chaired by the Director.
