Overview
Ronan Kelly (Baylor Sammons Cancer Center) was principal investigator of CheckMate 577, which showed adjuvant nivolumab doubles disease-free survival in oesophageal and junctional cancer patients with residual disease after chemoradiotherapy and surgery, the first adjuvant immunotherapy approval in a GI cancer. He continues to lead perioperative immunotherapy trials in upper GI cancers.
