Overview
Sattva Neelapu was principal investigator of ZUMA-1, which showed axicabtagene ciloleucel produces durable remissions in about 40% of patients with refractory large B-cell lymphoma and led to the first CAR-T approval in lymphoma, and co-led ZUMA-5 in follicular lymphoma. He co-authored the CARTOX consensus on managing cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity and studies mechanisms of CAR-T resistance.
