Overview
Senthil K. Muthuswamy is Director of the Center for Cancer Research (CCR), the intramural research programme of the US National Cancer Institute, and a Senior Investigator in its Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics. He pioneered three dimensional organoid culture and co-culture methods for mechanistic, translational and co-clinical studies, and his laboratory defined roles for cell polarity proteins in cancer biology and therapy resistance. His research interests include metastasis, breast and pancreatic cancer and cancer immunotherapy.
