Overview
Stephen Scherer, PhD, is Chief of Research at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and Director of The Centre for Applied Genomics. His work on human genome structural variation and the genetics of autism spectrum disorder is among the most cited in genomics, and he oversees the SickKids Research Institute, which includes paediatric cancer research programmes.
