France offers girls and boys vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) in its national schedule, introduced in 2006; WHO's latest schedule lists two doses for those aged 11 to 14.
WHO's immunization data record HPV vaccine as introduced in France in 2006. In the 2025 data the introduction is recorded as nationwide. The routine schedule reported to WHO for 2025 gives two doses of nine-valent vaccine to girls and boys aged 11 to 14, the later dose 6 months after the previous dose. The country's note in the WHO schedule table reads: "Femmes et hommes 11-14 ans: 2 doses (M0, +M6); Femmes et hommes 15-26 ans: 3 doses (M0, +M2, +M6),". For hepatitis B vaccine, WHO records the birth dose as given to risk groups only in 2025.
