Cancer Support Community
The Cancer Support Community runs a free helpline and dozens of local centres, including Gilda's Clubs, where anyone with cancer can join free groups and classes.
Overview
Formed by the merger of The Wellness Community and Gilda's Club, the Cancer Support Community is the largest professionally led network of free cancer support in the US. Its helpline is staffed by counsellors and navigators who can also help with finances and insurance questions, its centres run free support groups, exercise and nutrition classes, and its research institute studies the psychosocial needs of patients. Everything for patients and families is free.
