Overview
Maggie's runs centres in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals throughout the UK, plus a few abroad. Each is staffed by cancer support specialists, benefits advisers and psychologists, and runs courses such as Where Now for people finishing treatment, exercise and nutrition sessions, and groups for families. No referral or appointment is needed and everything is free. It is the model for hospital-adjacent support that other countries have copied.
