In Australia, McGrath Cancer Care Nurses give free nursing and emotional support to people with any cancer and their families through treatment; ask your treating hospital whether one works there.
The McGrath Foundation funds McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, who provide expert clinical, psychosocial and emotional support to people experiencing cancer and their families through treatment, free of charge. The Foundation states that its nurses have supported people with breast cancer since 2005 and that it is now taking its care to all cancers. Its site reports 430 McGrath Cancer Care Nurses. Since 2009 Cricket Australia, the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Foundation have run the Pink Test as a fundraiser.
