Vaccines for Children program (US)

Vaccines for Children is the federal programme that buys vaccines for children who might otherwise go without. HPV vaccine is on the schedule, recommended at 11 to 12 and available through 18 under the programme. Eligibility is by insurance status; the vaccine itself is free, though a provider may charge an administration fee that cannot be a barrier to vaccination. For insured families, most plans must cover recommended vaccines without cost sharing.
