Overview
Ananya Health is developing a portable, low-cost cryoablation device for treating precancerous cervical lesions at the point of care, designed so that nurses and mid-level health workers can treat immediately after a positive screen. The company points out that although cervical cancer is easy to screen for, most clinics worldwide lack the equipment and specialists to treat early lesions, which blocks the WHO elimination target. The device is in development and early field evaluation; regulatory clearance is not recorded in a primary source found at the time of checking.
