Long-standing mammography computer-aided detection company whose ProFound AI was the first cleared for 3D mammography; acquired by RadNet in 2025.
Overview
iCAD moved from classical CAD to deep learning with ProFound AI (FDA 2018 for tomosynthesis) and added density and risk products. RadNet agreed to acquire iCAD in 2025, bringing ProFound alongside DeepHealth and Kheiron in one portfolio.
