Overview
Sorrento Therapeutics, founded in 2006 in San Diego, built a broad portfolio spanning antibody libraries, CAR-T and dimeric antigen receptor cell therapies, a Cynviloq paclitaxel formulation and resiniferatoxin for intractable cancer pain, several of which reached phase 3. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023 and its assets were sold. Its trials remain on ClinicalTrials.gov under Sorrento as lead sponsor.
