Stryker
Stryker is a large American medical device company whose SPY fluorescence imaging systems, acquired with Novadaq, let surgeons see indocyanine green in lymph nodes, blood supply and bile ducts during cancer operations.
Overview
Stryker makes orthopaedic implants, surgical equipment, endoscopy systems and hospital beds. Its endoscopy division sells the SPY Elite open-field imager, the SPY-PHI handheld and the 1688 AIM 4K laparoscopic platform with SPY fluorescence, used for sentinel node mapping, perfusion assessment of bowel anastomoses and flaps, and anatomical identification in oncological surgery.
