Karl Storz
Karl Storz is the family-owned German endoscope maker whose rigid and flexible scopes, blue-light cystoscopy and Rubina fluorescence imaging are used across urological, gynaecological and abdominal cancer surgery.
Overview
Karl Storz, founded in Tuttlingen in 1945, makes endoscopes, camera platforms and integrated operating rooms. In oncology its photodynamic diagnosis system provides the blue light for hexaminolevulinate cystoscopy of bladder tumours, and its Image1 S Rubina platform overlays indocyanine green fluorescence on 4K laparoscopic images.
