Queen's Centre for Oncology and Haematology, Castle Hill Hospital

The Queen's Centre for Oncology and Haematology at Castle Hill Hospital opened in 2008 as the purpose-built cancer centre for Hull University Teaching Hospitals, bringing radiotherapy, chemotherapy, haematology, inpatient oncology and a clinical trials unit onto one site for Hull, the East Riding and northern Lincolnshire. It works with Hull York Medical School and the University of Hull's cancer research groups, including the Jack Brignall PET-CT Centre and the Daisy Appeal-funded Molecular Imaging Research Centre, and is part of the Humber and North Yorkshire cancer alliance.
