Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre
North India's largest private not-for-profit cancer hospital, an early adopter of robotic surgery, precision oncology and bone marrow transplant in India.
The Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre opened in Rohini, Delhi, in 1996 as a charitable cancer hospital and has become one of the largest dedicated cancer centres in India, with a second campus at Niti Bagh. It was among the first Indian centres to offer robotic cancer surgery, a large bone marrow transplant unit, in-house next-generation sequencing and molecular diagnostics, and modern radiotherapy including tomotherapy and stereotactic techniques. RGCI runs a DNB training programme, a tumour registry and a research wing, and participates in Indian and international multicentre trials in breast, head and neck, lung and haematological cancers.
