Dharmendra Singh Gangwar is Chief Executive Officer of the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC), a not-for-profit specialist cancer hospital in Rohini, Delhi, with a second site at Niti Bagh. He holds an MBBS from King George's Medical College, Lucknow, and is a former member of the Indian Administrative Service and Secretary to the Government of India, with more than 35 years in public health, governance and institutional development. As Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare he oversaw a health budget of more than 82,000 crore rupees during the COVID-19 pandemic, and he also serves as President of AIIMS Rewari. The institute's Chairman is Ashok Kumar Agarwal and its Medical Director is Sudhir Rawal.
