Overview
Henrique Prata is President of Hospital de Amor (formerly Hospital de Câncer de Barretos) and of its parent body, the Fundação Pio XII, a philanthropic cancer hospital network based in Barretos, São Paulo state, that treats patients through Brazil's public health system. He is the son of the hospital's founders, Paulo Prata and Scylla Duarte Prata, joined the administration in 1989 and led the construction of the new hospital complex opened in 1991. The hospital describes him as a health manager with more than three decades of oncology management in the SUS.
