Zhejiang Cancer Hospital
Zhejiang's provincial cancer centre and a leading Chinese site for thoracic radiotherapy, oesophageal and lung cancer trials, and cancer screening.
Founded in 1963, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital became the Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2019 and runs the Zhejiang provincial cancer registry and screening programmes. It is known for thoracic oncology and radiotherapy, oesophageal cancer, head and neck cancer and gynaecological oncology, and has been a top enroller in Chinese PD-1 and ADC trials in lung and oesophageal cancer. The hospital has a proton therapy project and a phase 1 ward, and its collaboration with the CAS Hangzhou Institute of Medicine links it to the Chinese Academy of Sciences basic-science network.
