Overview
Aleksandar Sekulic is a dermatologist and physician-scientist at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. He was first author of the 2012 New England Journal of Medicine report of ERIVANCE BCC, the phase 2 trial in which the Hedgehog pathway inhibitor vismodegib produced responses in most patients with locally advanced and in a third of those with metastatic basal cell carcinoma, the basis of the drug's approval.
