Ana Oaknin
Barcelona oncologist who led GARNET, the trial that brought dostarlimab to mismatch repair-deficient endometrial cancer, and who has led many trials of new drugs for gynaecological cancers.
Overview
Ana Oaknin leads the gynaecological cancer programme at the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology. She was first author of the 2020 JAMA Oncology report of the GARNET trial cohort in which the PD-1 antibody dostarlimab produced durable responses in recurrent or advanced mismatch repair-deficient endometrial cancer, the basis of its first approval, and has been a lead investigator on trials of tisotumab vedotin and other new agents in cervical and ovarian cancer.
