Overview
Andrea Necchi led PURE-01, which showed neoadjuvant pembrolizumab alone produces pathological complete responses in more than a third of muscle-invasive bladder cancers and defined biomarkers of response, and is a lead investigator of the KEYNOTE-057 and SunRISe programmes in non-muscle-invasive disease. He heads GU oncology at San Raffaele and studies bladder-sparing strategies.
