New York neuro-oncologist who led INTELLANCE-1, the trial that tested the EGFR-directed antibody-drug conjugate depatuxizumab mafodotin in newly diagnosed glioblastoma and found it did not extend survival.
Overview
Andrew Lassman is chief of neuro-oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He was the lead investigator and first author of the 2023 Neuro-Oncology report of INTELLANCE-1, the phase 3 trial of depatuxizumab mafodotin added to radiotherapy and temozolomide in EGFR-amplified newly diagnosed glioblastoma, which showed no overall survival benefit despite earlier promise. He leads several cooperative-group glioma trials.
