Overview
Georgina Long (Melanoma Institute Australia) led COMBI-d and COMBI-AD, the trials establishing dabrafenib plus trametinib in metastatic and adjuvant BRAF-mutant melanoma, and co-led NADINA, which showed neoadjuvant nivolumab plus ipilimumab beats adjuvant nivolumab in stage III melanoma and is changing the sequence of surgery and immunotherapy. She also led the ABC trial of immunotherapy for melanoma brain metastases and was 2024 Australian of the Year with Richard Scolyer.
