Julien Hadoux
Paris endocrine oncologist who was lead author of LIBRETTO-531, the trial that showed the selective RET inhibitor selpercatinib beats older kinase inhibitors as first treatment for advanced medullary thyroid cancer.
Overview
Julien Hadoux is an endocrine oncologist at Gustave Roussy who treats thyroid and neuroendocrine cancers. He was first author of the 2023 New England Journal of Medicine report of LIBRETTO-531, the phase 3 trial in which selpercatinib lengthened progression-free survival compared with cabozantinib or vandetanib in untreated RET-mutant advanced medullary thyroid cancer, establishing the selective RET inhibitor as first-line therapy.
