Medical oncologist and health services researcher who leads the Odette Cancer Program at Sunnybrook in Toronto, one of Canada's largest cancer centres.
Overview
Dr Monika Krzyzanowska is Chief of the Odette Cancer Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, Regional Vice President of Cancer Services at Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) for the Toronto Central North region, and Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. A medical oncologist and health services researcher trained at the University of Toronto with a fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard, she founded the Cancer Quality Lab and focuses on optimising the quality of cancer care and new care delivery models such as remote monitoring. In October 2025 she launched the programme's Cancer Care at Home model.
