Led VISION, the trial that made lutetium-PSMA the first radioligand therapy for prostate cancer.
Overview
Oliver Sartor was co-principal investigator of VISION, which showed 177Lu-PSMA-617 improves survival in PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and led to Pluvicto's approval, and was a lead investigator of PSMAfore, which moved the therapy before chemotherapy. He also co-led ALSYMPCA (radium-223). He directs the radiopharmaceutical trials programme at Mayo Clinic.
