Overview
Seyed Rouhollah Miri, a subspecialist in cancer surgery, is Head of the Cancer Institute at the Imam Khomeini Hospital Complex of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, with Leila Torkzadeh, who holds a doctorate in health policy, as its manager. The institute is one of the complex's hospitals on the eastern side of the campus, and its site describes a hospital cancer registry office set up in 1997, a Cancer Research Centre that grew out of that registry, and a Radiation Oncology Research Centre approved in 2014. The institute page lists seven outpatient and seven inpatient operating room beds.
