Xiang Hua

Xiang Hua (向华) is President (院长) of Hunan Cancer Hospital (湖南省肿瘤医院), the provincial cancer hospital of Hunan, which Chinese-language Wikipedia lists as the affiliated cancer hospital of Central South University's Xiangya School of Medicine. In an interview published by Xinhua on 19 August 2025 for China's Doctors' Day he described the hospital's 'three technologies, three guarantees' (三化三保) approach, which pairs minimally invasive, endoscopic and interventional treatment with commitments to efficacy, organ and function preservation and patient comfort, and its multidisciplinary team management of cancer patients from diagnosis through follow-up. He said doctoral graduates account for close to 40 percent at the hospital and outlined five-year talent and research plans aimed at younger doctors. The hospital's own website could not be reached for this check, so the role was confirmed from the Xinhua interview.
