CSL is the Australian plasma-products and vaccines group whose CSL Behring arm makes immunoglobulins and clotting factors used in supportive cancer care, and which has sponsored phase 3 trials in cancer settings.
Overview
CSL Limited, listed in Melbourne since 1994 and descended from the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, is one of the world's largest plasma-derived medicines makers through CSL Behring, based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, alongside its Seqirus vaccines business. In oncology its products are supportive: immunoglobulin replacement for patients with blood cancers or after CAR-T therapy, and haemostatic agents. ClinicalTrials.gov lists CSL Behring as lead sponsor of phase 3 trials in cancer-related settings.
