GC Cell
GC Cell is a South Korean cell therapy company whose autologous cytokine-induced killer cell product Immuncell-LC has been approved in Korea since 2007 as adjuvant treatment after liver cancer surgery.
Overview
GC Cell, part of the GC (Green Cross) group and listed in Korea, was formed in 2021 from Green Cross Cell and Green Cross LabCell. Its longest-standing product is Immuncell-LC, autologous cytokine-induced killer cells given after resection of hepatocellular carcinoma, approved in South Korea in 2007 and supported by a phase 3 trial showing longer recurrence-free survival; the company also develops CAR-T and NK cell therapies. It appears on OnCo as a lead sponsor of phase 3 cancer trials on ClinicalTrials.gov.
