A US charity for epithelioid haemangioendothelioma (EHE), an ultra-rare vascular sarcoma: research grants, patient guides and global research collaboration.
The EHE Foundation says on its home page that it works to accelerate research through global collaboration and to give patients knowledge and connection, describing epithelioid haemangioendothelioma as an ultra-rare subtype of sarcoma. It runs a competitive research grants programme, including a fellowship travel grant, says it is committed to supporting basic science, and offers preclinical and clinical research tools as well as education and guides for people newly diagnosed. Its news includes a study of how to measure pain in EHE and its part in the YAP/TAZ and TEAD scientific meeting. The site gives its IRS employer identification number, 47-3238441, which the IRS lists as a 501(c)(3) charity in Hobart, Wisconsin, with tax exemption from March 2015.
