Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz

The Fundación Jiménez Díaz was founded in 1955 by the clinician Carlos Jiménez Díaz and is today a university hospital affiliated with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and managed within the Quirónsalud group under a public-private concession. Its cancer programme is organised as the OncoHealth Institute, integrating medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology, surgical oncology and a large early-phase trials unit, and is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Research through the IIS-FJD health research institute covers lung and breast cancer, haematological malignancies and precision oncology.
