Linköping University Hospital Cancer Center
The university hospital for south-east Sweden, accredited by OECI as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre and home to one of Sweden's regional cancer centres.
Overview
Linköping University Hospital is the tertiary hospital of Region Östergötland and the teaching hospital of Linköping University. It coordinates specialised cancer care for the South-East Healthcare Region of Sweden (Östergötland, Jönköping and Kalmar) and hosts the Regional Cancer Centre South-East, one of the six regional cancer centres created under Sweden's national cancer strategy. The hospital's cancer centre holds OECI Comprehensive Cancer Centre accreditation and its research spans radiotherapy, clinical cancer genetics, gastrointestinal surgery and cancer epidemiology.
