Maastricht UMC+ Comprehensive Cancer Center

Maastricht UMC+ is the academic hospital of Maastricht University and the tertiary cancer centre for Limburg and the south-east Netherlands. Its Comprehensive Cancer Center works with Maastro, the independent radiotherapy institute on the same campus, which operates one of the Netherlands' proton therapy centres and is internationally known for radiomics and decision-support research. The GROW School for Oncology and Reproduction provides the research base, with strengths in radiotherapy, tumour hypoxia and metabolism, colorectal and head and neck cancer, and the centre leads the OncoZON regional cancer network. It is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
