The NHS genetics service for the South West of England: if your cancer or family history meets the national criteria, your hospital team or GP refers you here for genetic counselling and inherited cancer gene tests, free on the NHS.
The South West hub covers the region its name gives; its page on the North Bristol site did not load to a script on 4 November 2026, so nothing further is quoted from it. It is one of seven Genomic Laboratory Hubs that together co-ordinate all NHS genomic testing in England, each paired with a regional Genomic Medicine Service Alliance that delivers the clinical care of patients having genomic testing (Health Education England's GeNotes). The lead trust is North Bristol NHS Trust.
