Overview
Eleftherios Mamounas (Orlando Health) chairs the NRG Oncology Breast Committee and was NSABP protocol chair for B-42 (extended letrozole) and co-chair of KATHERINE, which established adjuvant T-DM1 for residual disease after neoadjuvant therapy. He has led work using the 21-gene assay to predict locoregional recurrence and radiotherapy benefit. His current trials test omission of surgery and radiotherapy after excellent neoadjuvant response.
