Linda Mileshkin
Led OUTBACK, which showed adding chemotherapy after chemoradiation does not help cervical cancer, a key negative result.
Overview
Linda Mileshkin was principal investigator of OUTBACK, the ANZGOG-led international trial showing that adjuvant carboplatin-paclitaxel after chemoradiotherapy does not improve survival in locally advanced cervical cancer, sparing patients unnecessary toxicity. She also leads the CUPISCO and other trials in cancer of unknown primary and directs clinical trials at Peter Mac.
