Mostafa Aziz Sumon

Mostafa Aziz Sumon is Director (In-charge) of the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) at Mohakhali, Dhaka, and a Professor (CC) in its Department of Radiation Oncology. The institute describes itself as the country's only tertiary-level government hospital dedicated to cancer care. In his director's message he emphasises combining advanced technology with compassionate care, and points to the addition of a linear accelerator in the Radiation Oncology Department as a step toward making treatment more accessible to the general public.
