Pierre Laurent-Puig

Professor Pierre Laurent-Puig is Director of the Institut du Cancer Paris CARPEM and of the SIRIC CARPEM, the integrated cancer research site certified by the Institut National du Cancer since 2012 and now in its CARPEM3 programme for 2023 to 2027. He is a professor of oncology at Université Paris Cité, leads a research team at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers (Inserm U1138) and practises at the Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou. The institute was created by the SIRIC CARPEM and AP-HP Centre Université Paris Cité to bring together adult cancer care, research and teaching across the group's hospitals, and was accredited as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the OECI in 2022, the first within AP-HP. He is supported by co-deputy directors Professor Michaela Fontenay, head of biological haematology at AP-HP Centre, and Judith Favier, an Inserm research director at PARCC.
