Overview
Sandra Swain was principal investigator of CLEOPATRA, the trial establishing pertuzumab plus trastuzumab and docetaxel as first-line therapy for HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer with a median survival of 56 months. She has led NSABP trials, chaired ASCO, and published extensively on anthracycline cardiotoxicity. Her current work covers HER2-directed therapy sequencing and disparities in trial access.
