Overview
Sebastian Bauer leads the sarcoma programme at the West German Cancer Center in Essen. He was first author of the 2022 Journal of Clinical Oncology report of INTRIGUE, the phase 3 trial that found ripretinib was not superior to sunitinib in progression-free survival after imatinib in advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumour, though it was better tolerated. His laboratory studies resistance mechanisms in GIST.
